Free Software Boost Web Surfers Speed Faster Than Dial-Up Or Broadband

By: Marilyn Best
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 20, 2004 -- Internet users with dial-up connections can now surf the Web faster and with less hassle, thanks to a free software download known as BOOST. The new software, which will be available October 1, is 40 times faster than dial-up, four times faster than broadband and can be used by anyone worldwide. "All you need is a telephone line to get BOOST broadband for free," said Marilyn Best, president and co-founder of FindItFromHere.com, an innovative, specialty search engine and directory that caters to Webmasters. "You can cancel your existing broadband connection and use BOOST without paying the standard monthly rental for broadband or similar charges on dial-up." FindItFromHere.com offers access to more than 15,000 products, tools and services that can enhance Website ranking, traffic generation and promotion. Many of these products undergo prior testing before being recommended by Best as an "exceptional-value" for webmasters. BOOST is the latest tool to receive Best's "stamp" of approval. BOOST allows anyone currently using dial up and broadband or ADSL to connect free of charge using any Internet connection, from wireless to T1. BOOST works across all platforms — PC or Mac — with at least a 9,600kbps modem. In addition, BOOST lets users surf at an amazing 2MB (2000kbps) connection, yet it doesn't reduce the quality of the Web pages being surfed. With BOOST, Internet users will be able to complete online activities much more quickly. For example, BOOST speeds up: secure (HTTPS) transactions such as web banking; the downloading of FTP files and NNTP newsgroups; the retrieval of movies, audio, and flash/shockwave files; and the transmission of email. "The software was originally designed by the U.S. Army to speed up data transfer between networks in the battlefield," Best said. "Soon, BOOST will be revolutionizing the way millions of people are connecting to the Internet. It's like the birth of the Internet all over again." BOOST not only accelerates users' surfing speed, but also offers options to enhance their Internet experience, Best said. The software allows users to avoid dead, blank or irrelevant pages; spam, viruses or worms in their email inbox; and; most importantly block porn/adult Websites if appropriate. BOOST also offers break-through IP filtration and parenthesis technology that can prevent child surfers from chatting with people pretending to be children in chat rooms. According to Best, BOOST will be the first ISP to offer services good enough for an insurance company to underwrite and guarantee the performance to consumers. The October release of BOOST will be restricted to 80 million users, who can receive the service free for life. Users can sign up at www.juiceboostisp.com in one minute with no set up fee or contract involved. Anyone who signs up for BOOST after the 80-million mark will be required to pay for the service.
